We have been invited to provide a little Viking history to the students at the Alice Birney Waldorf School in Sacramento.

We'll set up our display and focus on history and mythology during our visit. We'll talk about our display of artifacts. We will do a brief combat display, but that will depend on the weather, as it can't be done safely indoors unless there is a lot of room available. Assuming we have room, we'll do a half hour of Hunkerhauser, the Viking Tug of War game and let the students try on helmets, chainmail and handle the shields (we will avoid access to offensive weapons for obvious reasons).
